Sheen supports The Little Princess Trust

Sheen hair salon in Richmond are proud to support The Little Princess Trust.

Helping children with cancer

The Trust was launched in 2006 by the parents of Hannah Tarplee, the original Little Princess. Sadly she was diagnosed with cancer and after a brave battle, died in 2005.

Hannah loved her hair and losing it was very traumatic. Only after a long search did her parents find a suitable company to make her a wig. She very much enjoyed wearing her wig, particularly on special occasions.

After Hannah passed away Hannah’s parents, Wendy and Simon, launched a charity dedicated to providing specialist real hair children’s wigs. Since its inception, the Trust has helped thousands of boys and girls.

How we can all help

If you’d like to donate your hair (7”/17cm length minimum is needed by the Trust) please speak to your Sheen hair stylist.

If your hair is deemed suitable by the Trust’s wig company, it will be blended with at least five other hair donations just to make one single wig. The Trust will then donate this wig, free of charge, to a child who has lost their hair.

As well as your donations for fringe trims, Sheen will be raising funds for the Trust. Keep an eye on our e-newsletters and social media for our next fundraising events and how you can help us to help Little Princesses.
